about

Prurient unleashes a power electronics/noise epic. Creative soundscapes that go beyond ordinary "wall of noise" stereotypes. Great textural changes, ambient moments, vocals like lost shadows in a bleak land. A great beginning for the unexposed listener to the sounds of Prurient. A great place to start your introduction to the world of extreme noise.

"Massive, textural, throbbing, destructive, electronic, feedback-drenched power electronics and industrial noise with heavily processed vocals and field recordings dealing with vulnerability. Uses some of the thirteenth century love poems of the Persian poet Rumi as lyrics. Originally created in 2000 on CD via Armageddon Label and Hospital Productions, this was the first widely distributed Prurient full length."
